Weddings In VanuatuA number of things combine to make tropical weddings so special - the romantic backdrop of swaying palms and azure blue waters is just the beginning. There's the relaxed pace of 'island time', the luxury of your resort accommodation and the knowledge that everything has been taken care of. While the actual ceremony is of utmost importance, it will be only part of your Vanuatu experience. We can organise things like a gourmet picnic on a private beach or a waterfall, a sunset cruise, massages and pampering to ensure your time in Vanuatu provides you with a lifetime of magical memories. Once you send us the necessary paperwork to look after the legalities, the planning should all be fun (with a dash of exciting anticipation). With your help we will arrange the wedding package to suit, starting with the location, whether it be a beach, beside a waterfall, on a yacht or at a resort. The service itself can be a civil or religious one with a local Pastor or a celebrant from the Lord Mayor's office. Services can be in English, French or the local language, Bislama (or a combination). You may choose to bring your own vows or allow us to suggest some and we can assist in writing them. We can arrange flowers, hair and make-up, transfers, a warrior escort, photography, wedding cake, a celebration lunch or dinner - nothing is a problem. It is your special day! If you are inviting guests, we also look after them. We arrange transfers to the location from wherever they are staying, can organise a reception/celebration and activities/tours before and after the wedding day. Some popular options include the Coongoola cruise, a gentle bush walk to a private waterfall and swimming hole and a Sunset cruise with Meridien Charters. We can even organise a 'Bucks & Hens' day where the lads have a golf or fishing competition while the ladies have a relaxing cruise or some Day Spa pampering.
For couples combining their honeymoon with a Vanuatu wedding, you will need to be in Vanuatu for three days prior to the ceremony. For couples arriving in Vila on a cruise ship, there's no 'three day' rule. Catholic weddings can also be arranged. Click here for some sample wedding packages.
